Yesterday we stopped at the Malga Rossignol, which is located on the plateau of Asiago, Italy. After an escursion of a couple of hours we were longing for some refreshments. What better place than a dairy farm (malga)? Polenta with Asiago cheese, beans, pancetta and salame. Everything super local, and cheese made directly on the premises. Simple, genuine food that tastes delicious and so satisfying that you won’t need to order a dessert at the end of the meal. BUON APPETITO! photos Coco Zordan
Since I moved from Italy to the US twenty years ago, I tried to recreate the flavors that I had left behind.
