Directions
preheat oven to 375 F, keep the NUTELLA jar in a warm place or in the microwave (check if the jar is microwable)
place flour, baking powder and butter in food processor bowl, add sugar, using the pulse action press button for 15 seconds or until mixture is fine and crumbly. Add extract, zest, eggs, and process for 20/30 seconds or until mixture comes ‘almost’ together, but still sandy (see picture)
Turn onto a lightly floured surface, quickly ,without overworking, press together until smooth.
Butter and flour an 8 inch round tart pan
Roll out pastry large enough to cover base and sides of pan. Ease pastry into pan. Trim the edges and collect the scraps for the decoration. With a fork prick the base. Spread the NUTELLA cream evenly on the dough
Roll flat the remaining dough (about 1/8 ‘), and with a toothed wheel form some lozenges about 1/4 ‘ wide.
Dispose them on the pan first in one direction and then in the opposite, so that you create a grid with a diamond pattern.
bake in preheated oven, at 375 F degrees for 40 minutes. Once baked, let it cool completely before slicing. Enjoy your Crostata alla Nutella.
